Day 5 Still no call

So it’s been five days since my world was crushed. Sleepless nights, looking over at my dog every time I hear a sound. Spoiling her more than ever.
Still no call from the oncologist?!? Crap trying to be patient, I’m sure they are busy and probably light staffed as well. I just hope the wait doesn’t have an adverse effect on Ziva.
Oh ya I forgot I figured out the picture thing so get ready for a bunch of those.
I hope everyone else’s Tripaws or soon to be Tripaws are doing well and all of you are staying safe.

  1. I think someone already mentioned this, but ask your reg Vet to make a follow up call to the Onco, The Bet can do it under the pretense of seeing if the Onco needs any add records and then casually me tion if the Onco jas heard from YOU. Just trying to think of some way to get the return call. How many times have yoj called? Maybe do an email too?
I looooove the picture of Ziva and look forward to more! We love see poctures of hands pups!!
    Hugs
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

  2. Oh I really like Sally’s suggestion. Yes, have your vet give them a call.

Every clinic is just so upside down right now. I’m sorry that you are waiting, I know this must be making you crazy.

See if your vet can help and let us know what happens OK? I’m soooo happy you figured out how to add images!

  3. I would also definitely call. Sometimes the information slips between the crack. The first day I called at the reference center to make an appointment, the receptionist gave me an appointment but because of the importance of osteosarcoma she said that the oncologist would call me back during the day to see if I should come sooner than 2 days after. By the end of the day no call, so I called back to see if they had forgotten. Turns out there was a miscommunication between the receptionist and the oncology department (they did not know they were suppose to call me back). So I would definitely don’t hesitate to call. I believe with everything happening people are all over the place and some stuff might be forgotten.

Also, the sooner you have the information, the better it will be to help you to deal with all of this.
