Men don’t cry

I dropped Ziva off at the Vet this am and her surgeon Dr Allen came out and talked with me for a bit.
I’ve been spoiling Ziva and she was about 5lbs over her normal weight but the Dr said that ok for now. Well get her back down after she heals up.
Also her lung X-rays were clear so that’s good. She gonna check her left leg just to be safe and also prevent any unnecessary pain or surgery.
So I’m at my business that is closed due to Covid-19 and I’ll try to get some work done locked in by myself. I’ll wait for the phone call and hopefully all good news.
The drive back to my shop is only two block from my vet and I sobbed like a baby all the way here. WOW this is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.
But thanks to your support and my wife’s support we are gonna be alright.
I’ll post some after pics later time permitting.

  1. Of course you’re gonna be alright! You can do this, Ziva taught you well.

This is not an easy thing for any of us. And yes men DO cry, especially when it comes to their dog. I promise.

We’ll be waiting for a pupdate.

  2. Brownie’s wait also went up at time of surgery. It was all the guilt treats. Just stay positive, and I tell you real men cry! Shows you are an honorable man!

  3. Okay, since I’m posting here after I already read in the forums that the surgery was delayed tomorrow, I can say that men can also cry tears of joy and relief!! And I’ll leave it at that😉
